Hi! I am very exited about our new chickens and I love this site! We have seven pullets: two Ameraucana, a barred rock, I think an orpington, I think a sussex(?), a whitish one and a black one. I also keep three fantailed pigeons and have now raised a baby wild pigeon from about one day old (my client's gas station's cover collapsed in strong winds and killed the mother.) So I learned how to take care of it and now he is learning to fly in the aviary.
Anyway, learning as we go. Chickens are living in courtyard until coop is ready. I will take pix of both. Lots of questions!
