1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? this is my 2nd time having chickens. 1st time was 3 years ago

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 12

(3) What breeds do you have? Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Amberlinks, California White, Smokey Pearls, Partidge Cochin Bantam, and a OEGB I'm thinking she is Duckwing but I'm not very familiar with OEGBs she is gorgeous tho!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? it is so relaxing and fullfilling! Plus the unknown is so cool. I didn't know what my two Bantams were at first. Plus finding out who is and isn't a roo. Lol

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? hiking, camping, gardening, kayaking, I love being outdoors and being with my family, painting,

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. i have been happily married for 21 years to my best friend! We were very young but we grew together. We have 3 boys, 17 almost 18 year old, 15, and a 12 year old. My husband and I work in Healthcare. I am a Research Coordinator. I love my job. Helping come out with new medications that help treat our many diseases and ouchies is very interesting and rewarding. I have 2 Boston terrier females, Domino and Rogue, A gray tabby boy Cheach, a Black Swedish and a Blue, and 2 BB Turkeys

Oh and so the 1st BR is Sigma(my 12 year old named him from day one. I'm sure yiu guys have heard it too? What tha Sigma? Lol", CW- Ben aka The Flash, OEGB-Pidgey, BR-Omega, SP-Iliana aka Magic, RIR-Caramel, PC-Little Foot, SP-Storm, AL-Sarah, other 2 that are in group pics AL-Duckie, and BR-Peppa, Bronze Turkey- Butter Bull we call her BB, White Turkey- Oskar, Black Swedish Drake- Darkwing, Blue Swedish Duck-Magica De Spell. So that's my crew. Lol. I hope you enjoyed meeting them. I'll post more pics when they grow. They are around 5 6 weeks old now. Sorry for the novel. Dang I have a lot of birds. Haha.

What breed of chicken is that white with black splotches on it?

Smokey Pearl. Some people call them Moon Beam or Zombie chickens. I have 2. The other one has less black spots. They are so cool looking. They have black skin, feet, beaks, eyes, their feathers are white but have a gray"smokey" look and have an iridescent effect of purple and green especially on their heads. They are super soft and have super fluffy butts. Oh and one of them has 5 toes. That is why we named her Storm since she is a mutant. Lol. I love them!! They used to be the jumpiest and fuss the most but they are starting to be very sweet. This is how they looked as wee babies and then a few weeks ago..
