Hello this is my second year raising chicks, our first year we got 2 white Plymouth rocks and 2 "rainbow layers" which I think one is s barred rock and the other was a beautiful brown/ orange rooster with green tail feathers... We also got 4 Americana's (one was s roo so we don't have him anymore) this year we got 8 chicks 4 for sure are pullets and are cherry layers, and buff Orpingtons... The other 4 were fry pan.. one specifically we need help identifying I have no idea what he/ she is. It's brown and has darker Brown spots on its feathers. G’Day from down under cuckoo cluck [IMG] Welcome!

I like your username, very clever! I agree that the folks on the Breed & Gender Forum should be able to help you out.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share more pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
