here to learn all I can before hopefully making the jump to chickens one day. I found BYC via Google I do believe. I’ve been a lurker and am getting to the point of being able to ask at least somewhat informed questions!

Welcome. When I first joined, I was a little intimidated to ask questions. However, I have learned that people here are eager to help and share their love for chickens. As you go along, you will most likely question why you are getting different answers. In my opinion, this is because of many factors, different regions, chicken breeds, personalities, and some of it just different comfort levels. I just take all of it in with gratitude and then make the best decision for me and my chickens.
