Welcome from Northern California.

I have a mix of large breeds, Bantams and Silkies and have no problem with them getting along. In fact the head Roo is a little red Cochin Bantam, the smallest rooster in the bunch.

I started with chickens over the summer because I wanted a secure source of good quality eggs. The people of BYC have been very helpful. I blogged about the process.
