Hello everyone, I am new and have just made an account. I currently have 16 chickens which 13 of them are chicks. The reason I started doing the chicken business was because of my aunt who owns about 30 chickens!. She let me have one of her chickens and I raised it from a chick. I Named her popcorn ( because of her appearance) and I loved her very much. But sadly when she was a pullet she got paralysis disease and passed away
. Now I got another chicken from her ( She is a Polish/Araucana cross) and she is very sweet. She is now raising 5 baby chicks and is a nice broody. But guess what... One of her chicks looks like my dead chicken popcorn
, which is bad because i dont want any reminders of her death.
I am probably keeping 3 chickens from the chicks ( Australorp, Dorking and a wild chicken that I found as a chick in a forest who is extremely tame!). . I would also love to get some more chicken breeds! Here is the list: Buff Orpington, Silkie, Pekins, SSH, Barnevelder and an Araucana which puts it up to 13!
