Hi everyone. I'm seiglinde and I live in Los Angeles county, So Cal. I have one mixed rooster named Mr. Tweetums, and mixed hen named Flor. We've had Mr. Tweetums for 5 years and he's our beloved pet. Unfortunately Mr. Tweetums is really hurt and we have no idea how to cure him. We've taken him to a vet but the medicine we were given didn't help.

I guess I'll clarify more in another thread. I wish I'd joined this website on a happier note. I want to talk to other urban chicken keepers about how they raise their chickens in the city! But all I want right now is help with Mr. Tweetums. I really wish I knew how to help him, but I don't have a clue.

Welcome to BYC - sorry for the circumstances. Go to the Raising Backyard chickens forum and post the details of his injury in the Emergencies/diseases/injuries and cures section. Good luck.

Welcome to Backyard chickens, I hope you come back online so you can read Sourland's advice to you. When people go offline, we have NO way to reach them or help them in any way.

Hope you continue to have a wonderful time here! We're glad to have you join us!

I went ahead and made a thread on the emergency/diseases/injury section of the forums. Thanks for the help and the greetings.
