Welcome to BYC Aaron. Be sneaky when you let them out in the morning to watch where your hens go. I had one go clear across the road to our big barn to lay her eggs. She later disappeared for a month, and then returned with her new flock of 7 chicks. They can be very secretive about where they lay. Keeping them in the coop and run for a few days might help, and make sure you have enough nest boxes.
