Hello!

I'm new to Back Yard Chickens from Utah. We have a small flock in our back yard in the suburbs. We love our chickens and even though they were intended as "working" chickens, a few of them have become our pets and my daughter's 4-H projects. We have one Buff Orpington hen that broods every spring like clockwork so we get to hatch our new flock members at home under her care.

I am excited to meet more chicken lovers as well as learn more about taking care of "my girls".
