1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens.
Have had chickens for about 2 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13 chickens and 2 ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Pekin bantam chickens and pekin ducks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They have so much character! I love sitting in the garden on a sunny day watching them scratch about.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I play the guitar and ukulele. Water colour painting (when I get the time!) and I also go caving.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am from the UK where I live with my boyfriend and our black and white cat Socks, who is not too keen on the chickens and ducks and keeps well away!
I work on a small farm looking after the animals. I absolutely love my job and couldn't think of anything better than to get payed to spend my day talking to animals!

I have been googling questions for some time and have always found great advice on here so finally decided to join myself!
