Hello, since I am new I would like to introduce myself. I am a happily married mother of three boys. My husband and I have a farm that consists of chickens, cows, horses, and dogs. We are both in Law Enforcement. My husband just recently retired....unfortunately I am not that lucky lol. I have about 30 hens and 2 roosters in my chicken flock. I am incubating some eggs from my Marans, Olive Eggers, and Ameracuanas. I should have my first hatch in a couple of days with another set to follow in a few weeks. I am excited. I had a hen seem to go broody today so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will hatch some on her own. I would love to see the babies running around. I am sure I will find some interesting discussions on here to learn from. I am always looking for advice on different things. Thank ya'll for the acceptance.

Funny you should say keep your sanity...my whole family thinks I've lost mine having all these birds!! They never turn down free eggs though!
