(1) I am new to chickens and stumbled upon your community upon looking for many answers and have to say thanks for many great answers already!
(2) I have 30 chickens figured well if I am getting 5 and a few can go broody, and you can’t order just 5 so well let’s just let the chicken math start working right away. Although my husband almost xx his pants and had a heart attack when he asked how many I ordered when I said I finally ordered.
(3) I have Welsummers, Easter eggers, olive eggers, a light Brahma, ordered Silver spangled Spitzhauben and got Wheaton game birds (oops), a Silver laced Wyandonette Roo, a black Australop, Cinnamon Queens,
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Love watching them, and providing food for my family. They are all so personable in their own way.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Knitting, crocheting, spending time with my family.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Husband, 4 boys, 2 dogs, 2 grand dogs.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
