I'm a lucky mama rocking my 3 day old Rhode Island Red to sleep in front of my incubator of a dozen Cuckoo Marans ready to hatch tomorrow! In addition, I've got three beautiful Americaunas and one favorite Buff Orpington my 3yr old son named"Mermaid". Can you tell I love raising hens for their variety of pretty eggs?
I've used this site as a reference guide for my daughter's 4-H group that i lead and figured it was time for an introduction! Hello from Bellingham WA

Thanks for the warm welcome! And thanks for the well wishes. So far our 4-H group has seen two pullets hatch out and 4 more have zipped! Lots of action happening! Fingers crossed! I'll try to post some pics of our babies soon.
