I have been perusing this forum since about June of this year (2013) and I want to say what a welt of knowledge is here!
A bit about me:
I just started with chickens in late July and have got to say I am hooked. I have Golden Comets and am really enjoying keeping them. My family, I have boys ages between 6 and 13 and I think this has so far been quite an experience! I already have plans to add to our flock in the spring.
Anyhow, thank you for having a place that has such a display of answers based on experiences. I have recently experienced a set back so will be looking to ask my questions soon!

Still will always be home to me forever as that was where I was raised and lived for 30+ years.
