Hi all. I just joined up and am looking forward to posting about my birds and reading these boards. I have 13 young chickens(hopefully all hens) and 2 button quail (they are currently sitting in 5 eggs!)

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your quail hatch.

From your phone you should see a box with an arrow in it on the top right of screen. If you hit that it should give you the option to start a new thread.

You'll get hooked in no time. new to site, but have had chickens for over 8 yrs. My grandmother use to raise them for eggs and meat, decided to try it too since we have 5 acres. Started out with 6 hens. Now have 28, with 12 more in incubator, due to hatch end of month. Let them free range during day, and close them up at night for protection. Love watching them. Great stress relievers. Have several breeds. They are intelligent, have personalities, and you'll find some are downright friendly, as in in-your-lap.
