I know they are the ones with no tail that lay colored eggs.

Its in our guest house and my brother is visiting after his military tour overseas. He is going to be sharing with the babies and will have to shower in the main house
I haven't told him yet...I need help understanding where to ask my question about introducing Hens. I have one. She is one year old. I have 9 babies. I know you are supposed to separate them once they are old enough to be in the hen house. Then let them free range during the day together for a while and then place the one hen into the new flock in the night when they are going to sleep. I would like to do more if I can to increase the chances of an easy transition which I suppose will occur sometime in the spring. Can I place my single hen in the bathtub with the babies? For a few minutes each day totally supervised? To me a human it seems like this would create an early acceptance on the babies part. Not so sure about my single hen accepting them.
and welcome to BYC!
