Hello. Chickens are definitely adored pets at our house. We've had a small flock for about three years. We are up to eight hens and one rooster at the moment. This is more than I intended to have while living within city limits, but there are so many beautiful breeds that we are often tempted to add more girls to the flock. We are beginning the process of building a new, larger chicken house so our chickens can move out of the scrap-wood, ramshackle house they currently live in. I look forward to learning more about our feathered friends on this website.
