So glad to be here!
I have been caring for chickens for two years. I have five Buff Orpington hens, one great rooster of unknown heritage, and one guinea hen. I really like Buff Orps, they are sweet and also good layers.
We live in the Tennessee countryside, west of Nashville, so noise isn't a problem, but I did get rid of four guineas earlier this spring because it was just too much!
I'll be more of a spectator than contributor, although if I can't find an answer to a recent problem in past posts, I'll be chiming in looking for help; like caring for an injured hen from a recent dog attack.
Thanks in advance for all that I am sure to learn from you.
