My name is Dorothy and I have been raising chickens, ducks, and turkeys for the past 16 years. I have had many breeds! I have hatched eggs several times. I have taken breaks but always come back to this hobby. I love it. I currently have five hens, two roosters, and eight chicks.

One of the reasons I joined this forum was to ask a question about eggs. One of my hens keeps laying eggs that are slightly deformed, the same way, every day. See picture below. I wondered what causes the deformity and how to "fix" it.

Hello, Dorothy, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I don't think it can be fixed. It's just the way she is built that makes the eggs come out that way. I have 2 hens that lay with consistent shell anomalies too.
