I read about this forum and decided I needed to join and discuss chicken issues with people who care.

We have Rhode Island Reds. We currently have one rooster and 7 hens. We decided to hatch out a few more to replenish our flock from a wild dangerous animal to chickens called a ----- bobcat.
We have 6 of the cutest most adorable chicks
you have ever seen.
They joined our family on November 12, 2010.
Glad to be here to learn more about chickens. I live in Kansas now, but was a California city girl before I moved here.
