Actually, you are right. I have no idea her breed or actual color. I call her Ash because I thought she is gray, but I am new to chickens so I have no idea. He is the sweetest and so protective over his girls. I never knew they can be so gentle and kind with the ladies. My previous rooster was a rescue and he almost killed my barred. I had to give him away. He would always eat first, didn't offer snacks to the girls, and was not a gentleman at all.Very pretty flock and your roo is quite handsome!
