(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I am new to chickens. I first got chickens in August 2021.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have three chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
A warren called Gelsomina, a White Star called Angelica and a Bluebell called Dorothy.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Observing their behaviour. And the eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a linguist and a writer.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a teacher of languages, and also have seven pond fish.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I googled something, and now, I've registered because I'm struggling to introduce the two new chickens to the existing one.
