Got a new friend on a side note. He is a kirikiki if I spelled that correctly. A miniature little guy while I’m waiting on my chickens to hatch here next week.

I wonder how sanitary they are. I have a big home made built pen for his little self. But I want to carry him around and let him hangout with me until his friends are born

So you want him as a house chicken until others hatch? Some people do keep house chickens (I never have) so I suppose if you don't mind cleaning up poop or using a chicken diaper, you could too.

Yeah he’s a minature chicken breed and my normal chickens hatch this next week which is when he will have friends what I have been doing it having him in a box that’s open on the top so he’s pooping in it not in my house. I can’t be having that lol. He has a pen in my basement with a run I built for my chicks until they can go outside but this little guys not going with the big ones outside

Sounds like what you have fixed up for him will work for a temporary measure.
