Hello world

Asking for advice on what to do when my bunch hatches this week they are on day 18 tomorrow I will lock them down. This is my first hatch. When do I take them out and how to care for the post incubator.? I've raised my chickens from chicks around 3 weeks old previously.

Clean, dry brooder with heat. Temperature 95°. People use all kinds of different brooders. Remove them from the incubator once completely dry and fluffy takes about a day. Best not to open the incubator while any egg is actively pipping.

This! ⬆️

Also...

For their first couple of days, paper towels work well.

For their waterer, so they don't drown their first couple of days, many of us put marbles in there. You can show one how to drink by dipping their beak in it, and the rest will figure it out.

You can sprinkle their crumbles around where they are, but most of the time they'll just sleep their first two days.
