Hi everyone, I am a new member!

I have been browsing the site for a while now, doing research as my husband and I got ready to add chicks to our family. Since we are expecting our chicks to arrive next week, I thought I'd go ahead and join the forum

We are getting 3 barred rocks and 3 white leghorns. I had chickens as a little girl, but have been living in the city for a while and couldn't have any. Now that we are living in the country, I jumped at the chance to have some again! I had a 3 year old son that is really excited as well
