Welcome to BackYard Chickens and thanks for joining us! Penelope is definitely a fine-looking cockerel. If you're able to keep roosters in your neighborhood, he'd be a nice member of your flock. He's quite handsome.

Oh yes roosters are welcomed around here and quite vocal around us. Lol Our Barred rock rooster sounds like an old truck horn all day long!! lol You see we tried to find a JG rooster to buy to go with the pullets we bought but had no luck with any hatcheries so we got Reggie our Barred Rock. So now we’ll have to figure out what to do
