Hey y'all! My name is Kait and I am new to this site/app. I find it so helpful and fun! My husband and I are down to about 5 laying hens, a rooster, 3 little turklets and about 10 silky chicks. We love our chickens and the benefit of farm fresh eggs! Looking forward to being part of this community!

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely mix of birds you have there. I'm hoping to incubate some silkie eggs this year once my friends silkies are laying again. She has them for her children and they are lovely little birds. Lovely to hear you have found BYC so helpful and fun it really is a great place for learning and lots of chicken chat.
