I used to live in an extremely hot part of South Africa and our summer temperatures were similar to yours, even going over 50*C now and then. I ran a hose in the chickens' run so they can sit in the puddles and scratch around in the mud. I found that helped a lot to keep them cool and help them deal with the hotter days. Enjoy the site!

Welcome to BYC!

Here in Florida we deal with a lot of heat and humidity too. Melon is always a welcome treat as well as cucumbers and berries. Our girls also seem to enjoy having their run sprayed down a couple times a day (and of course all the shade they can find).
