hey from E. TN. have been using this site for awhile. thought i would join.
I have 13 chickens. 7 gold laced orps 2 boys 5 girls allmost 3 months old.
then 1 buff orp 1 EE 2 red sexlinks 1 unknown (girls)1 barred rock (Boy) those are around 5/6 months old.
yes the EE is giving me blue eggs
i have a few questions but ill post those in the right threads.
Ill upload some pics when i get a chance.

13 is a perfect baker's dozen! I wanted and EE for those blue eggs, but selected all brown eggers.

I put up a few pics of the older girls up on my profile. i got to get some of the youngsters. but im not going to keep all of them im going to put a few in the freezer. of the gold laced orps the person i got them from has done to much inbreeding 1 boy and a few of the girls are either blind in 1 eye or have eye problems. so by the end of sept. im taking the bad ones.
then hope the next gen. wont have any problems there going to be good meat birds as big as they are. most of them are already bigger then the older ones.
