Just joined today after using this site to find out about the many questions I have had since getting my 5 girls (3 Lohman Browns and 2 Vorwicks) hope to find out more and one day even post something useful!

Oh and the name is because all my chickens are named after Coronation Street characters.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) names our hens after Disney princesses. Lohmann Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links which are laying machines. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from those 3 girls. ) If you haven't done so already, definitely our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center.
