Hello everyone - new here and new to caring for chickens. Don't have any birds yet, but soon enough!

Looking to get some decent layers but I'm not familiar with all the breeds yet. Hoping I can get some great tips and find others in my area that I can get to know.

Have a great coop we got from some friends, just need to put it in its final location and build the run then populate it. I appreciate any advice I can get from anyone!
