My name is Margie. My husband and I got 13 chicks March 1st. We are new to chickens. I had been thinking about raising chickens and one day I got carried away when I saw the baby chicks. Of the 13, 2 are roosters ( 1 buff orpington and 1 brama). They are such fun to watch. One hen jumped into my lap today and proceded to help herself to my BLT. I've turned to this site many times for help but just decided to join. Thanks to all.
