Hi and welcome to BYC. Don't worry a jot about sounding silly - some of us do that for a living!

Theres lots of info in the learning centre so check that out if you have not done so already, then maybe search your state thread (type your state in the search box) cos you will get the chance to chat with other members in your area who can give you more accurate advice than those living in other parts of the country (or world, for that matter).

Most importantly, feel at home. It doesn't matter if you don't post things in the right place, forget to upload a photo, double post - we've all done it and someone will always be around to guide or help you.
