I am showgirl 779 and I love my chickens. I have several breeds of them. I do have a question I have a silkie rooster and Turkmen hens with him is that how you get showgirls? Is it the other way around?

I'm not certain but I think you only need one cross of silkie & turken, and from then on you can keep breeding either to other show girls, or to silkies. There is a "Showgirls," thread on BYC and they probably have a much better explanation than I do. I think show girls are really classy.
