I was out with the camera today.

Puff Ball is growing up:

He is such a sweetie, he is surprisingly heavy though he looks slight.

I have my cockerels in a seperate pen but one of my araucana pullets sure likes Puff Ball. She will sit on the other side of the fence from him and they just stare at each other. He tries to give her invisible treats.

Every time I see a polish I crack up. So funny looking and beautiful at the same time!

Is it true that polskiʻs are as skittish and many say? Iʻd love to try them, but donʻt want to deal with flighty birds.

I would say Puff Ball is not skittish at all. He is a bit more trusting than he should be. Sometimes if another bird bumps into him he scoots pretty quick because he didn't see them. But he is very good with everyone over all. He sure is prettier than I thought he was going to be.
