New to BYC and new to chicken keeping. I have found lots of good info here and I have to say I'm hooked. Got our first chicks this Spring and just got a few more this week! Looking forward to lots of great info and advise! - Kristen In Ohio

What breeds do you have?
I have Barred Plymouth Rocks, White Leghorns, Buff Orpingtons, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Black Sex Links, Production Reds and Dixie Rainbows.

We have 5 White Silkie Bantams. One of which we are certain is a roo. Not sure about the others yet. The chicks we just got are Mottled Cochin Bantams. I think Cochins are really cute! We also got 2 chicks that were unidentified. So we are in for a surprise! None of them were sexed. Just really hoping for more hens. I don't know if we have enough room for more than 1 roo!
