In the Brooder
I have a flock of 5. I started with day old chicks in April. Four of the five have started laying a couple of weeks ago, and it's exciting to get eggs. What is the safest and natural way to control odor, without having to clean everyday?
. Pleased you joined us. Lots of folks use the deep litter method for order control....some use sand. Even with neither of those, daily cleaning likely isn't necessary. If you have some bedding material on the floor of the coop, a lot of smell is absorbed or neutralized. Best of luck to you.
