I've been checking this website out for about 3 months now and I decided to make a account.
I'm the owner of a total of 11 chickens, 5 cats, 4 dogs, and 3 guinea pigs. I look forward to posting on this website and meeting a lot of new people and learning a lot of new things.

Greetings from Kansas, Armando, and

! Great to have you aboard! If you are a relative newcomer to chickens, you might do some reading in the Learning Center here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center It is packed with useful articles covering all aspects of chicken rearing. And f you'd like to talk chicken with fellow Lone Star Staters, you can find the TX thread in this link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you
Best wishes to you and your flock and thank you for joining BYC!!

It's nice to have you here! That's a lot of animals, you must enjoy them very much. What breed of chickens do you have? If you'd like to share a photo or two, we'd like to see.

I have 3 American games 1 cockerel and 1 pullet and another that is 3 weeks old, 2 welsummers 1 rooster and 1 hen they are still checks and being raised with the game chick, 2 golden sex links, 1 buff Orpington rooster, 2 splash blue americauna chickens but I'm not sure if they are male or female yet, and 1 lavender Orpington cockerel mixed with a red sex link.

I am planning on getting more hens because the hen to cockerel ratio is really low but I have the cockerels seperate from the hens to avoid over breeding the only ones that are together are the 2 games and the 2 splash blues.
