Just popping by to say Hi!
New member, I have had chickens just under a year, and ducks just over 2 years, they were the first animal to be bought when we bought our farm 2 years ago. I also have horses!

My coop is currently 8x6x10 with a 25x31x12 run

Currently we have 9 ducks, 6 chickens and 2 rabbits housed there.

We have for chickens:
3 Columbian Rocks, 1 rooster (Roo), and 2 hens (Little Hen and Annie)
1 RIR hen (Henny)
1 RSL hen (Babs)
1 BSL hen (Chicken)

We have for ducks:
3 Muscovy drakes (Donald, Pipper, Pepper)
6 Muscovy hens with potential crosses in a few (Daffy, Daisy, Daphne, Duckie, Sel, Piper)

We have for rabbits:
Thumper - Harlequin X New Zealand
BunBun- American Sable

Those that have left us:

Qwankie- Harlequin duck hen
Chicken Little- White leg horn chicken hen
Lucky- Muscovy duckling

Always looking for more chicken/duck friends! Everyone thinks im a crazy chicken/duck lady, they just don't understand! Haha!

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some great starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
