Moved to TX 2 years ago. Just about to buy a house. Not allowed chickens in our city although many surrounding cities allow chickens.

Determined to have chickens for eggs and meat even on our little urban lot. I'm forming a group to change the law in Plano, TX. It will be a big task because we are not going through the city council who just repeatedly says "no." We will be putting the matter into the voters hands.

I am looking for anyone who has done this. I am also looking for anyone who knows of any advocacy group who would support our effort. TIA.

Good luck in getting the law/ordinance changed.

I did a quick on site search using:
how to change law - and select Relevance.
There are quite a number of articles on how others have accomplished this, hope you can use some of their experience and ideas.
