We have been keeping backyard chickens for at least 5 years! Our current flock includes Red Stars, Speckled Sussex, Gray Lace Wyandotte, Americanas, and a random rogue hen that just showed up in our yard! In all we have 10 hens. In addition we have a duck. From what I've read she should start laying in the next month or so. I have been accessing this site for several years as a resource.
