Hi Backyard Chicken peeps!
My family and I have been raising chickens for about 5 year now. We have successfully moved with them to another city, and have been incorporating new birds to our flock every year. We currently have 7 adult egg layers and 3 chicks, about 8 weeks old. We prefer to have just hens in our flock as we have not had good experiences with roosters.
We just joined this site because we have an injured chick who is recovering nicely but now seems to be sick with something causing feather loss and diarrhea. We have looked to this site before, but just never joined. We look forward to many more interactions on this site with other chicken lovers!
