(1) Yes, me and my mother are a bit new to chickens, we first got chicken eggs for incubating, but they never worked, all dead on lock-down except for one we were incubating for a friend.

(2) We have twelve chickens. Killed one, because he was a big bad meanie (and because we were hungry).

(3) Black Sex Link, Speckled Sussex, Partridge Brahma, and an Easter Egger!

(4) I found this site because my mother found it, and after I while I wanted to join the community! :)

(5) Having fun, raising animals, gardening (helping), and being on this site! :)

(6) My mother is on this site as well as me, I have chickens (duh), a rabbit, two cats and a cat that lives in the local neighborhood.

Okay, thanks! But my mother told me someone would tell me to join my state group??

I'm not sure what that means, and why nobody has done it yet.. but thank you anyway!

Welcome to BYC from middle Tennessee :frow There are lots of good threads out here. Just spend some time exploring. I'm guessing you're a young chicken wrangler so look for others who meet the same criteria and from time to time you might want to take advice from some old farts too... :old

Haha, yeah. I'd rather go with "old farts"/"experts" for the questions I ask than the same level of chicken wranglers. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks from Blairsville, Georgia!
