I'm new to this site and somewhat new to raising chickens.

I got 7 girls about a year and a half ago. Since then I've lost two. (One due to a raccoon in the coop!!) This past weekend I picked up 3 brand-new baby chicks to help replenish my flock. Good excuse. Our chicken family totals 8, right now - six ISA Browns a Black Sex Link and an Australorp. Since I don't have any other animals, the girls are my beloved pets.

I am a Na Na to eight wonderful grandkids and enjoy flower gardening.
