Hello everyone,

My family and I are new to raising chickens and brought our first pullets home yesterday. We have 2 black star sex link, and 2 buff orpingtons.
We are wanting to learn and would appreciate any and all advice.
Home for us and our new flock is in the foothills of Northern California...

Hello Tjbagz. Welcome to BYC! There is tons of info here and very helpful people to help you on your journey as new chicken owners.

I don't know how much reading/research you've already done, but if you want to get the most out of BYC, I suggest you do the following:

• Spend some time in the Learning Center
• When you have specific questions, most of the time a quick search will come up with the answer(s)
• If you don't find anything useful that way, then post your question in an appropriate subforum. People here are very helpful and will answer your question even you are the 100th to ask it.
