Years ago I had the opportunity, on two separate occasions, to raise roasting chickens. It was a different time & I was in a farming/rural setting. My husband & I have decided to start again. This time we will be raising them in the man cave!!! I was delighted to find this forum, and look forward to the knowledge & tips it holds.

I brooded my first flock indoors, just be aware chicken dust gets everywhere and quite quickly! So if that is where your "man cave" is remove everything from it that you do not want a thick layer of dust on.

We are only raising them for 8 weeks, and doing prep to protect the man cave. We may be very naive....might have to make a new plan for next year’s group.
