Hello, my name is Grace and I raise purebred, show-quality chickens. We raise the following standard breeds: Black Orpingtons, White Wyandottes, Mottled Houdans, Salmon Faverolles, and White and Black Ameruacanas. We raise the following in bantam breeds: Silkies, Seramas, and Salmon Faverolles. We also have several mixed-breed chickens (with the occasionaly purebred) that keep the bug population down and decorate the yard with their pretty colors. I have always kept chickens as a side project since I spend most of my agricultural time with my dairy goats, but as of recently I was given some exceptionally great show chickens that have tremendously improved my flock. We are now getting serious when it comes to our chickens and will be selling hatching eggs and chicks to anybody located in our state (Arkansas) or is willing to travel to our state. You can always contact me at [email protected] for more information about our chickens and our prices for hatching eggs/chicks.

Welcome Grace, glad you decided to join us! Lots of interesting info here, and friendly people. Some of us also keep goats, rabbits, guineas, quail and other interesting animals. We also get into gardening topics if that interests you.
Good luck with your flock and herd. Hope to see you posting here!

G’Day from down under Grace :frow Welcome!

BYC has a Buy, Sell, Trade Forum but I believe you need to have made at least 20 posts before you can participate.

I do hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

I note you mention you are in Arkansas, but if you include your general location on your profile, this will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

You might want to also Find Your State Thread and pop in and say hello.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock or goats, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
