Hey, everybody! My name is Lainee and I'm sort of a chicken newbie. I had a rooster as a child (among many other farm animals), and I worked on a farm in the past where some of my duties were caring for chicks and hens. In early 2018, my husband and I moved into a new house with an awesome chicken coop and run. A couple weeks after moving in, my husband and I bought 4 chicks (2 SLW's and 2 GLW's) from our local Tractor Supply. They're about 6 weeks old now, and I'm desperately hoping for some pullets. I posted a thread about sexing, if anyone would like to help.
Greetings Wafflekinz, Welcome to BYC! That's really great that you have a ready made coop. Might be a good idea to disinfect the coop, before moving the pullets in.

Thanks! They're already out in the coop. I cleaned it first, but it had been previously cleaned and it was empty for about 5 years before us. I think it's most likely fine for them.
