I am new to backyard chickens! I have a total of 8 chicken, 4 barred rock 2 Amberlink Pullets and 1 Production Red Pullet and 1 Road Island Pullet. we have been chickening for about a year, my little really enjoys it, this started out as a hobby for us and now these little ladies have worked their way into our hearts,(maybe mine more than more hubbies lol) anyway we do enjoy the fresh egg and we get more than we can eat we enjoy giving them away. Being a blessing is to those we love is great, giving away dozen here and there. It is fun and makes people smile. So that's just a little a about me and out flock of 8.
