We're still pretty new to chickens! We got our girls about 2 months ago. We started with 2 Jersey Giants, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 5 RIRs, and 2 mystery white pullets. My husband rescued a bantam rooster from a guy he works. Something killed all of his other chickens and he decided he wasn't getting more. We thought he was only going to have one eye, but a week and a half into his quarantine he started opening it! The girls took to him really quickly. We also bought 7 straight run Black Australorp chicks, 2 Barred Rock pullets, and 2 Lavender Orpington pullets. I found BYC trying to figure out what breed some of our chickens were! We have 3 boys ages 12, 3, and 13 months, so no hobbies right now lol. We've all been so excited, the boys really love their chickens.
